(Per Press Association.) Trentham, January 24. The concluding day’s racing of the Wellington Racing Club’s summer meeting took place in good weather, though light showers fell early in the morning. The attendance was on the small side. Results:—

Wallaceville Welter Handicap.— Mallard 1, Beacon 2, St. Petersburg 3. Scratched. Odessa. Won by a length. Time, Imih) 16sec. Melrose Welter Handicap.—Bronze 1, St. Felix 2, Longstep 3. All started. Won by a length and a half. Time, I min 28 2-ssec.

Hopeful Stakes.—-Styx 1, Glade 2, Peroneal 3. All started. Won by a bead. lime, 49 l-ssec.

Summer Handicap—lreland 1, Kauroa 2, Miscount 3. All started. Time, Train 30 2-ssec.
