RALLY AT HAMILTON

Hamilton, January 24

There was a big Opposition rally at Hamilton last night. Nine members were present. Mr Massey was unable to attend. Messrs Herries, Newman, and Malcolm expressed their faith in ]Vtf Massey as a leader and while believing that he would be Premier yet the position of the Reform Party in Parliament would at first be precarious and their progress would of necessity be slow. They urged the party and its followers to stick together and in view of the fact that there might soon be another election to organise, which should be their motto.
