ALMOST A CERTAINTY

(Per Press Association.) Gore, January 23

In regard _to the Hon. J. A. Millar’s supposed intended resignation, the “Ensign” recalls the rumour current in political circles prior to last general election, when it was understood that the management of a large commercial business in Sydney at a salary believed to be in the neighbour-J hood of two thousand pounds per annum, was placed at his disposal. The paper states that it is almost certain that Mr. Millar will resign.
