EVIDENCE GIVEN IN GERMAN LIBEL ACTIONS. WHAT GERMANY WANTED. Berlin, During journalistic libel *WiSns arising out of the Pan-German M or co campaign, evidence revealed that Mr Lloyd-George’s speech caused a reversal of German polic3 r . Herr Von Kiderlin, Foreign Minister, after the despatch of the Panther, informed the journalists he wanted Mogadir at least, while Her Zimmerman, Foreign Under-Secretary, told the Pan-German League: “Wo must stick to Agadir. We don’t want compensations. We want Morocco. France offers Congo.” This was apparently a reference to M. Caillaux’s private overtures.
