, THE recent reorganisation > SCHEME. 1 | START TO BE MADE AT ONCE. (Ptr Press Association.) Christchurch,. January 18. Colonel Fisher, finance secretary of the Salvation Army in Australasia, has arrived in Christchurch to make arrangements in connection with the reorganisation of the Army in New Zealand. Col. Fisher states that under the old arrangement the Dominion had only two headquarters, one at Wellington and one at Christchurch. .Under the new system, 1 however, New Zealand would he divided into four provinces, with headquarters in each chief centre. This alteration had heon brought about preparatory to a greater change, when a commissioner will take over the control of the whole work in Now Zealand. Hitherto the officer in charge in New Zealand has been responsible to the, Australasian headquarters at Melbourne, but under the new scheme New Zealand will be autonomous and responsible to the headquarters in London. Col. Fisher leaves for the north to-morrow night.
