Mr. Newton King publishes a list of sheep fair dates, and notifies, that this list cancels sheep fair dates on salecards;/ Entries are now being taken. Attention is directed to the list of properties for sale or to lease, now in j±o hands of Messrs C. and E. Jackson, Land, Stock, and Commission Agents, of Broadway, which will bo found on page 3. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett’s next Matau stock sale * takes place on Monday, January 29th. Entries appear in another column. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett’s' next Inglewood weaner fair will take place on Wednesday, January 24th. Entries appear in another column. The, Inglewood Co-operative Bacon Curing Co., and Messrs. Thos. Borthwiclc and Sons will receive pigs at Toko until further notice.
Tim New Zealand Shipping Co. notify, that the next steamer of the Reason to load at the Waitara Roadstead will bo the s.s. Tongariro. Particulars appear in another'column. Newcomers and others are heartily invited to to-morrow’s meetings at Wesley Church. Mr. Harrison will preach “The Life-story of Thomas Waugh, the Farm Boy,” who has become one of England’s best-known preachers, will be told at night.
