The thanks of the club are due to he Stratford Racing Club for its zindness in permitting competitions 0 he hold on its .property, the site hosen being an admirable one from ivery point of view, and it is hoped hat tiffs privilege will be again exonded to members. The operations >f the club (which- usually become acivo in the spring) were unfortunately lelayed by the inclement weather prevailing at that time, and it will consequently be necessary to commence he cup competitions as soon as posable. Messrs AAL Lovett, T. I). Col;on, and T. Mercer have kindly offered .repines for the coming season, which pvps promise of being a very successill'one. The balance-sheet shows 1 pro cl it of £2 18s and the club has .n hand about 350 clay birds. The lewitrap purchased last season has ;iven very great satisfaction, and anitber of the old ones lias been sold to a neighbouring club.
