WEEKLY REPORT. Quantity of chaff ana sundries at usual rates. Ac tne Mart.—Poultry: Cockerels dd to 9d, ducklings is 9d. No killing birds came to hand. Potatoes fid to id per lb, green peas is 3d per peck. Furniture etc., sold well. Fruit: About 500 cases of assorted came to Hand from Auckland, .Nelson, Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu, and, made prices on a par with last sale. Peaches No. 1,3 sdd to 4s; No. 2, 2s Gd to 3s. Plums, Jap. Burbank 2s to 2s dd; Ogans 2s to 2s 3d; Eng., 3s to Is; apples 2s dd to 3s; all fbusiicl cases; tomatoes os dd per 12ib case. NAPIER WOOL SALE. (Per Press Association ) Napier, January 16. The second wool sale of tins season’s series was hold to-day, when the local brokers ottered 21,150 hales to a large number of buyers from the various parts of the Dominion, Great Britain, and the Continent. The competition for lots suitable for America was keen and at times the prices realised wore beyond expectations. There was a brisk demand for lambs’ wool by Continental buyers, especially those represontaing the French houses. The range of prices was: —Halfbred, 9d to 10id ; crossbred, line, 9d to 12-ld; crossbred, medium, 81 dto 9ld ; crossbred, coarse, 7pi to _B.pl; lambs’ wool. Old to 10pl; first pieces, Opl to Sijd ; second pieces, 5Pi to fid; bellies, SPI tn 7pi ; crntchings, Ipl to Gd ; locks, 3;pl to 1 pi.
