NAPIER WOOL SALE. (Per Press Association ) Napier, January 16. The second wool sale of tins season’s series was hold to-day, when the local brokers ottered 21,150 hales to a large number of buyers from the various parts of the Dominion, Great Britain, and the Continent. The competition for lots suitable for America was keen and at times the prices realised wore beyond expectations. There was a brisk demand for lambs’ wool by Continental buyers, especially those represontaing the French houses. The range of prices was: —Halfbred, 9d to 10id ; crossbred, line, 9d to 12-ld; crossbred, medium, 81 dto 9ld ; crossbred, coarse, 7pi to _B.pl; lambs’ wool. Old to 10pl; first pieces, Opl to Sijd ; second pieces, 5Pi to fid; bellies, SPI tn 7pi ; crntchings, Ipl to Gd ; locks, 3;pl to 1 pi.
