IRISH HOME RULE FUND
(Received 15, 10.35 a.m.) Melbourne, January 15. The Irish envoys have concluded their Victorian tour. They collected £6OOO, making the Australasian total £22,000. TWO BIG FIRES. ,i (Received 15, 10.35 a.m.) Sydney, January 15. A large hall, six shops, and two dwellings at Wonthaggi wore destroyed by lire. The origin of the fire is unknown. A more serious outbreak occurred at Willaura, where there was no fire fighting apparatus, twelve' shops, constituting half the business portion of the town, being destroyed. The amount of tiie damage is not known. PARSON’S COFFIN PROCESSION. (Received 15, 9.35 a.m.) Sydney, January 15. The Dean of Newcastle, referring to the extraordinary church scones recently cabled, declared that Archdeacon Colley was not an Archbishop, but 'one of the men appointed clergymen by Bishop Colenso of the total I after the schism in the church there.
