BREACHES OF LICENSING LAWS.
PROPRIETOR OF FISH AND CHIP SHOP FINED. (Per Press Association ) AVellington, January 12. In the Police Court to-day Richard Phillips, proprietor of a fish and chips shop, was lined £ls with costs for sly grog .selling iu connection with the same affair in which two men were fined for being on the promises. ILLEGAL STORAGE. Ashburton, January 12. Thomas Gibson was fined £ 10_ for storing liquor for another man in a no-license district.
