SOME OF THE EARL OF DUDLEY’S IMPRESSIONS. (Received 10, ,10-40 a.m.) London, January 9. The Earl of Dudley read a paper at the*Royal Colonial Institute on ‘‘Some Impressions of Australia.” He disapproved of the hasty selection of the Federal Capital and considered that fourteen legislative chambers was an over-generous allowance for four and a half millions of people. He strongly advocated fresh endeavours in connection with immigration.
