BURGLAR ARRESTED.
MAKES A BIG FIGHT. (Per Press Association.) .'Sf Wellington, January 10. At-4.30 o’clock on Christmas morning the shop of Rash and Gooder, jewellers, was burglariously entered, an iron liar on the workshop window being sawn through and jewellery valued at £27 taken. To-day a man named Bruno O’Moller, with several aliases, was charged with the theft, and also with having burglar’s tools in his possession. He pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence. Accused was arrested when leaving the premises by a constable, assisted by a night-watch-man. He was armed with a billet of wood, with which he tried to hit the watchman.
