CHINESE REVOLT.
A DEMAND BY RUSSIA. (Received 9, l t o.-I0 a.m.) Pekin, January, 8. The “New York Herald’s” correspondent states that Russia has demanded that China shall recognise the independence of Mongolia, and announces that she is sending troops into the province.
