MOUNT MORGAN MINE.

REPORT FOR HALF YEAR JUST ENDED. GOOD PROFIT'S SHOWN. (Received 9, 9.35 a.m.) Sydney, January 9. The half-yearly report of the Mount Morgan Company states that the total revenue was £-1512,336, and the expenditure £381,730. During the halt year 179,177 tons of ore, including ->3,131 tons of basic of ore from Many Peaks, was treated, _ producing 3698'tons of copper, 63,197 ounces of gold. The report proposes a dividend of a shilling per share, £24,000 for depreciation* and £2183 carried forward. The previous report stated tliat when the ore from Many Peaks was available there would ho a larger production of blister copper and the .cost of treatment would lie substanially reduced. These anticipations were now realised. One difficulty was insufficient power plant, which disability is being removed.
