SEVENTEEN DEATHS IN THE UNITED STATES. TRAFFIC GENERALLY DTSCOLATED. (Received, 9. 11.20 a.m.) The Death roll from the effects of cold, numbers seventeen. The cold wave extends across the continent. The Pacific coast is snoweovered and w ires are down in all directions. Trains are stationery in the Rockies. There is a general discolation of traffic in all cities north of the furiicth parallel.
