ALLEGED THEFT. 'Per Press Association.) , Palmerston, January 6. At the Police Court a man named Harry Hay was charged with stealing £2B, at WelTngton, the property of Robert Buchele. The police evidence was to the effect that accused was room-mate with Buehele 3 who had £2B in his pockets on retiring. Next morning when he awoke his mate and his money were missing. Accused was remanded to Wellington on January Bth.
