Mr. J. Bowen, of the “Golden date,” Broadway, is making his dainty isli suppers and lunches a more than jver popular feature of his catering msiness, and will bo glad to show hose who have not already tried him low well it can bo done. Old customrs will, of course, be welcomed. .Mr Newton King has received initructions to offer by public auction it his horse bazaar to-morrow, the utire First Mate, by Bluejacket—fonnie. A number of carpenters are advertised for. Mr. A. Spence publishes a replace idvortisoment in this issue. Messrs. 11. H. White and Co. are offering special bargains in ladies’, ■hildren’s and men’s hosiery, also, milts, at big discounts. Mr Newton King will hold his ■'■tratfdrd horse fair to-morrow. He . ill also sell, on account of Mr W. jovett, the black mare, St. Prior and mo broken colt, 4 years did. To-morrow Mr Newton King will ■onduct his weekly sale at the Haynarket and Mart. • Messrs Lamasnn and Melville will mid their usual side of ■ poultry, vegetables, furniture, sundries, i etc., at :heir rooms, Broadway ,to-morrow. Miss M. E. Hunt, teacher of millinery and dressmaking, notifies, owing to increase of business, she will ioI cl classes in the Foresters’ Hall, Stratford, on January 16th. Classes will be held from 9 a.rn. to 5.30 p.m., and instruction will be given on any branch of m'llincry ad dressmaking. Mr. Newton King has an up-to-date motor-garage to lease, for, a term of five or seven years. Particulars , appear in another column. The Inglewood Co-operative Bacon Curing Company will receive pigs at Toko on Monday, January Bth. Mr Newton King will hold his Stratford sale on Tuesday, 9th January.
