A RUMOUR.
UNSEATING OF A MINISTERIALIST HINTED AT. (Per Press Association.) Nelson, January 5. Information has been received that one of the Ministerial supporters returned at last election may have the legality of his return attacked on the ground that he was connected with a. land transaction in which two ex-mem-bers are also interested. It is also stated that he has. been asked to 'resign in order not to embarrass the party. NOT YET BEFORE CABINET. Wellington, January 5. In reference to the statement in a Nelson telegram, enquiries show that something of. the matter alluded to has been mentioned here in political circles, but it has not yet come before Cabinet.
