THE GERMAN ELECTIONS.
COMMENT ON THE GOVERNMENT’S ACTION. FIRST BALLOTS AWAITED. (Received 5, 10.30 a.m.) Berlin, January 4th. There is much comment on the Government’s attitude in confining itself to advising electors to vote against Socialists. The results of the first ballots are eagerly awaited, us the bargaining of the Government with the various groups will thereafter begin.
