PREVENTING THE SMUGGLING OF ARMS. ' EGYPTIAN PRECAUTIONS. (Received 5, 8.5 a.m.) Cairo, January 4. There are stringent precautions against smuggling arms to Tripoli. Posts have been established between Solium and Alexandria. Camel patrols and Bedonin trackers are watching the land frontiers. A Turkish officer captured yesterday was sent back to Turkey.
