WEDDING BELLS.

ERB—EWANS,

A wedding party attended at Wesley Church, Stratford, on New Year’s morning, including Mr. Hugh E. Erb (bridegroom) and Miss Ethel Maude Ewans (bride), both of Lilydale, Tasmania, also Miss Edith May Ewans (bridesmaid), and Mr. Elbert E. Ewans (groomsman). The father of the bridegroom, Mr. Chris. Erb, of Tasmania, the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ewans, residing in Stratford, together with other relatives, were also present. The Rev. Colin C. Harrison conducted the wedding service. The bride, who was led. to the altar by her father, was attired in white voile, trimmed, with silk insertion and lace, with; veil and wreath of orange blossom.. and also bore shower bouquet. The bridesmaid wore a becoming cream dress with hat trimmbd with chiffon. The party was entertained at a wedding breakfast by Mr. and Mrs. Ewans, at their residence in Portia Street South. Mr. and Mrs. Erb eventually left for their new home at Mangatoki, with the heartiest good wishes of the assembled friends, the bride’s travelling dross being a navy serge costume with white hat.
