THE LATEST POSITIONS. (For Press Association.) Napier, December 30. At tlie Chess Congress the following are additional results: —Fifth round: Jones v. Hicks, draw; Grierson \\. Mason, drawn Connel v. Rolling, unfinished. Mason’s draw with Grierson gives Gyles a lead in the aggregate with 5 played and 4 wins, but Mason has an unfinished game which he should win.
