POLITICAL CRISIS.
o SOUTH AUSTRALIAN HOUSES AT VARIANCE. OVER STATE*TRADING. (Received 22, 9.45 a.m.) Adolaide ; December 22. There was a political crisis in connection with the Appropriation Bill, the Council declining to pass itmns for Government brick, timber, and firewood yards, on the ground that they should he included in a spemal Bill. The Houses met in conference, but were unable to agree. A general election is regarded as unavoidable.
