The weather cleared marvellously after lunch to-day, and it was decided to proceed with the sports at- the baths, the decision being arrived at too late to allow of the alteration of the paragraph on the matter which will be found elsewhere in this issue. The imminence of the big chopping carnival was indicated by the arrival in Stratford of four trucks of wood blocks by the Toko train.
