SUCCESSFULLY opened at PALMERSTON. RECORD ENTRIES. I (Per Press Association.) Palmerston, December 19. The second National Sweet Pea Show opened to-day. The entries were a record. The blooms were super!), being the finest collection ever brought together in the Dominion. Entries came from Auckland and Wellington besides intermediate centres. The judging commenced at noon. The Graphic cup for 18 bunches of named distinct varieties was won by C. Trevethick, Lower Hutt, W. Strang, Palmerston, being second.
