THE DELHI DUNBAR.
HOW BARODA’S POTENTATE OFFENDED.
UNMISTAKEABLE MEANING
London, December 18
The “Daily Mail’s” Delhi correspondent states that the GaekWar of Baroda, after a single bow, turned his back on their Majesties with a smile of which the intention was unmistakeable.
“The Times’ ” correspondent declares that the Gaekwar has variously shown a tendency to disregard the duties imposed by the relations of Baroda to the supreme Government. Many Indian extremists came from Baroda, even some of those employed in the Gaekwar’s household, while the extremist press has studiously excepted him from their scurrilous attacks on the other princes.
