POLITICAL TACTICS.

(To the- Editor “Stratford Post.”') Sir, —Emmerson said: “Hitch "our chariot to a star and let that be your aim.” Now, sir, during last election, Mr J. B. Hine stamped the country with his waggon hitched to the “Dairy Regulations”—so-called by him, and the tale of woe lie told the farmer was, well—he knows himself what he said. Now I would like Mr Hine to answer this question-. Were the statements he made then true, or were they what ho has told people since just “political tactics.” And as Mr Hine and his party* definitely state they are not prepared to repeal any of the laws passed, or alter the incidence of taxation, are the other wild statements true or are they just “political tactics?” I trust Mr Hine, who professes to Iqvo truth and a square deal, will please explain,—l am., etc. AGNOSTIC.
