A LUCKY MISHAP.
FLOOD DOES GOOD. (Received 22, 10.5 a.m.) New York, November 21. The Skagit River, Washington State, suddenly changed its course, and floods cut a new channel almost whore surveys had been made for a now channel, which was contemplated by the United States Government. A million dollars has thus been saved.
