A quantity of correspondence lias been crowded out of this issue, but will lie published to-morrow. A very highy-eoionred report of Mr •1. B. Mine’s Whangamomona meeting whicli appears in a contemporary is declared by fair men on both sides to bo quite inaccurate. On Saturday Mr Newton King held a sale of privileges in connection with the Stratford show, the following prices being obtained : Two publican’s booths, £sl ; public and stewards’ lunch, CIO I Os; afternoon tea, Cl; fruit and lollie stall, £5; fruit and lollie stall, Cl ss.
