A loose piece of film caught fire at His Majesty’s, Picture r l heatre on Saturday night, causing a temporary panic, which, however, ended very quickly owing to the coolness of tne attendants. A few women screamed, and after fifty persons had made a rush for the 'exits the brigade was summoned, but before it arrived the operator had got the fire out. f l he damage caused was not serious, but the management found it impossible to proceed with the entertainment and returned the entrance money to the audience.
