, Hr W. F. Massey, Leader of tho Opposition, is to speak at Eltham tonight. The members of Mr J. McCluggage’s Committee meet to-night in York Chambers. The business is important.
A Denbigh Road correspondent Writes—‘.‘Between twenty and thirty electors were on Saturday itight at Denbigh Road school to’hear Mr McCluggage deliver a political speech. Mr W. T. Mills occuuicd the chair. 'Mr McCluggage was listened to Very, attentively, particularly to bis clear enunciation of the Land Policy of the Liberal Government. At the conclusion of the address, Mr .W. Moles proposed, and Mr W. H. Norton seconded, the following resolution:— That a hearty vote of thanks to and confidence in Mr McCluggage, and confidence in the Government, on being put, to ther meeting, was carried unanimously. A strong committee whs formed to further Mr McCluggage's candidature.
