Paris, October 27. Following the Morocco settlement, M. Berthelot, director cf tlie Paris Metropolitan Railway, recommends a trans-African railway from Algiers to Lake Chad, linking the Nigerian Belgian Congo with tlie Cape-to-Cairo line.
