MEXICAN FRONTIER.
AMERICAN TROOPS WITHDRAWN. Washington, October 24. Secretary Stimson and Major-Gen-eral Goods-have returned from an inspection of army pests along the Mexican frontier. 1 The abandonment of small army forts in the southern part of , the United States is recommended. The troops ordered to the Mexican border last year have been ordered home.
