The Wellington Tramway Band, also using a complete set of Hawkes’ Excel - sior Instruments, won the B grade. The judge congratulated this band on their playing. These two successes in Grade A and Grade B, on such a great occasion, are worthy wins for Hawkes, whoso instruments are pre-eminent all over the world. Bandsmen!
