REGENERATING CONVICTS.
VISIT TO A DRAMATIC PERFORMANCE. Now York, September 23. Fifty convicts in the State prison in Denver, Colorado, including several “lifers,” attended a dramatic performance in a theatre, being conducted thither by a strong guard. The play dealt with a convict’s life in prison, with a highly moral outcome. The prison warden hopes that the lessons will bo taken to heart.
