PLAGUE OF INSECTS.
A TOWN INVADED. New York, September 16. Witchita, Kansas, was invaded by dense clouds of green insects. They covered the pavements an inch deep, stopping traffic. Groat excitement was caused by the inhabitants trying to keep the insects out of their houses.
