AN AUTOCRATIC SPEAKER. (Received 14, 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, September 14. The Speaker’s autocratic rulings in the Assembly continue to supply fuel for continuous flickering. His defence against the persistent heckling is that he acting on his authority, with the added hint that if members persist he will have to take notice of them.
