The New Zealand golf championship meeting concluded to-day, and, as lias been the. ease since tlio commencement, magnificent weather was experienced. A record crowd was present in the afternoon, when the amateur and professional championships were decided. , Arthur Duncan, as was expected, had a very- easy win in the amateur event, thotigh Dodgshnn put up a gallant fight. The man who would have beaten Duncan this morning would indeed have boon a woiiderfor lie finished nine up on bogey, and broke the links’ record by four strokes —doing tlio round in 70. Duncan won, ■ll no and 10 to nlay.

Clements proved superior to McEwan in the professional championship, though the play throughout was of an oven nature.
