SHEARERS’ DISPUTE.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, August 29. The application for an award filed by the Agricultural and Pastoral Labourers’ Union against the Sheep Owners’ Union, came before th« Conciliation Council this morning. The sheep owners took up the position that there was no dispute, and declined to argue the ease, which was forthwith referred to the Arbitration Court.
