RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT. Ottawa, August 17. Sir W. Laurier, in opening the election campaign, ridiculed as beneath contempt the talk of the annexation of ■Canada by the United States. If returned to power he would call the House to meet immediately,' with a view of ratifying the. reciprocity treaty.
