WELLINGTON’S POSITION. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, August 14. The Wellington suburbs electoral districts is called “Wellington Suburbs,” and a country dstrict under the new distribution. It has gone further north, and includes Porirua and Palmitanui, which means that hotels in those places will in future bo included in the dry area, and be dosed in duo time. The suburbs will also include that portion of the old Hutt electorate lying to the west of the railway line. A FEILDING PROTEST. Palmerston N., August 14. The Feilding Chamber of Commerce tonight decided to strongly protest against the now electoral boundaries. The Chamber points out that the residents of the town whose whole business interests are in Feilding but who live in the western side half a mile from the post office, arc cut out of the Oroua electorate, and put in Manawatu, where they have no interests.
