JOHNSON AND W%LLS. London, August 12. The John son-Wells fight takes place at Earl’s Court on October 2nd. The arena holds a hundred thousand. i MILLERTON ASSOCIATION’S MEETING. ■ (Per Press Association.) Westport, August 13. The Millerton Boxing Association’s fifth tournament was held last right. In addition to the amateur events there was a special professional bout of fifteen rounds for a purse of £-15 between Aif. Broomwich, of Millerton, formerly of Now South Wales, and T. O’Halloran, of Waipawa. Although the latter put up a game fight, Broomwich held mastery for seven rounds. Broomwich won on a knockou t.
