ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) Wanganui, August 4. A young man named Alfred Histed had a leg and an arm broken on the wharf to-day. He was engaged in carting coal from the scow - , Maroro when a basket of coal knocked him off tho cart to the wharf. The injured man was taken to the hospital, whore he is progressing as favourably as possible.
