UNDERGROUND LABOUR.
INTERNATIONAL TREATY SUGGESTED. London, June 26. There is a strong labour movement in favour of an international treaty, regulating labour in mines on the basis of a universal eight Hours day, calculated from the first departure from the pit head to the first arrival thereat on the return journey. Various Governments have boon approached on the matter.;; ,
