MR NEWTON KING’S STRATFORD WEEKLY REPORT.
At the Haymarket on Saturday there was a good attendance. Pigs wore penned in smaller numbers than usual and met good competition, selling well. I quite:—Slips and weaners 7s to 10s, small stores 10s 6d to 15s 6d, sows £2 12s to £2 19s, culled lambs 2s 3d to 3s Od, gig £ls 10, dray £7, sundries at usual rates. At the Mart.—Poultry: hens Is to Is Od, roosters Is 3d to Is 9d, potatoes 13s per sack, onions 6s per bag, cheese 6s 6d per 121 b, furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.
