LEPROSY.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, June 19. A “Times” reporter went, over to Quail Island in Lyttelton Harbour on Saturday when Lite Health Cfn or made bis weekly visit. The Health Officer is the only person who comer in direct contact with the lepers, who are making good progress, under his treatment. Canny Coates also visited the island to hold a brief service. The lepers complain of the monotony of their life, particularly the diet, but otherwise express themselves satisfied with their treatment. The report that they' might escape was ridiculed. A!! throe said they wore anxious to got well and return to their homes.
