SPECIAL TRAIN FACILITIES.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, .Last Night. This morning a deputation interviewed the .Minister of Railways on the subject of excursion trains in connection ‘with the exhibition. Air. Millar was strongly urged to grant facilities to country residents to visit Wellington during the term of the exhibition. Tin Alinister replied that he had to look after the railway revenue. He would confer with the officers, and see whether fortnightly excursion train- - could lie run. He thought it would he well for the exhibition authorities to approach (he Alinister of Education, and ask him whether his Department would he willing to make up any deficit on tho running of special trains. Personally he would lie prepared to arrange for an excursion train from Wood vile as an experiment.
