RUMPUS IN INDIA.
MAHOMMEDANS ATTACK HINDUS. Calcutta, May 23. A dispute between Mahornmendans and Namasudras, low-caste Hindu agriculturalists, in the Chulna district, resulted in a serious situation, a thousand armed Mahommedans looting and burning the villages. Armed police have been sent.
