GUN-RUNNING.
A SHARP ENCOUNTER. (Received 25, 10.55 a.m.) Constantinople, May 24. The Ottoman gunboat Rifahiya had a share fight with gun-runners in the Red Sea, and afterwards sank two dhows. The gunboat then bombarded Khoko, which is the base of the illicit trade in arms and contraband.
