FRENCH CHAMPAGNE AREA.

Charles, Blanc’s report to the Council' of State recommends that Bar-sur-Aubc and Bar-sur-Seino be re-inclmled in the champagne area, thus enabling them to designate their products champagne. On tiio otJier hand, with a view to satisfying the champagne region as recently delimited, ho recommends that the principal M arne vintages he described as products of “Urando Cham])agne,” and that wines of tits whole champagne area be used without restriction for the purposes of admixture.
